What is autosurfing? Autosurfing program is traffic exchange which allows raising internet site exposure to bigger audience. Basically it is newest tool of advertisement business how to reach consumer which combined with some high yield investment elements gives consumer who watches these ads good earning opportunity. During year 2005 it has grown with outstanding speed and now several new autosurfing sites pop up each day which adds up competition and in longterm should make more affect on quality and stability of programs. Unlike other advertisement channels like tv, radio, papers or billboards where money is paid to those who show these advertisements in autosurfing industry most of the money goes to consumers directly. Elements of high yield investments are added to attract more consumers to particular advertisement program. Just like TV channels care about their ratings autosurf programs need some carrot that would attract more consumers to their program and so advertisers would want to pay particular program for their services. Short insight into history of autosurfing. First signs of traffic exchange sites that offered their members to earn credits for advertising of their sites and even some money for participating in such programs can be found in year 2003. StudioTraffic is one of the first big whales that recently closed. At the end of year 2004 there were 30-40 programs offering such service. Most of them offered 1% daily with couple of 2% sites and one 4% site. Since then it was an avalanche of new programs and different offers. Some even made offer of 25% or even more for few days of upgrade age. During year 2005 several hundreds of autosurf programs were created but most of them (around 80-90%) existed only few months and failed because of either initial plan to leech people's money using success of other programs like 12DailyPro or StudioTraffic or just because their business plan was not successful enough to sustain the offered percentage. Now when there are hundreds of programs running it requires experience and knowledge to discover those few that have potential to run long term and make profits for their members. Early in 2005 lots of 2-6% offer programs were launched. In april of 2005 new program called 12DailyPro showed up and offered something that few only believed in at that time because at first sight it seems too risky but when it just continued to run and pay their members another avalanche of 7-25% offer programs came along but most of them dissapeared quite quick. There are also some scammers who launch a new program collect money and then relaunch new program with different offer, name and looks to leech more money in. There are few examples when someone from same host launched different programs but never cared to hide originating domain ownership details or other info which can be checked quite easy by using some whois or dns reporting tools. Many of such scam programs you can find on my Research page. How does it work ? Autosurfing basically contains 2 parts - Free advertising and daily earnings. An autosurfer is someone who watches advertisement on internet using provided by autosurf website presentation of changing webpages that are advertised by other members of autosurf program. This is called traffic exchange - bringing visitors to your site and exposing it to bigger audience. To watch these advertisements you need to join an autosurf program by completing signup procedure (Explained later in more details). After signup you can start watching advertised webpages right away. Every webpage you watch for 15-30 seconds earns you a credit which you can in exchange use to advertise your own webpage or some affiliate program you are part of. You also have an option of paying a membership fee which is also called an upgrade. By purchasing an upgrade you will get additional advertising benefits and the opportunity to earn profit by doing same thing of viewing advertised by other members websites. The amount you can earn depends of what daily percentage program offers and your upgrade level. For eg. if program offers 12% daily and you have upgraded to level of 60$ then each day you will earn 7.2$. Usually these upgrades last only for set time interval and higher the percentage the shorter is lifetime of upgrade. But remember that higher percentage doesn't mean more profits. For eg. if program offers 12% for 12 days and another program offers 10% for 15 days then more profit you will get from second one because after 15 days you will have 150% of your upgrade paid but in first case it will be only 144%. Usually daily ROI (Return of investment) is used to evaluate actual profit you gain from particular program. This daily percentage is the carrot for autosurfers to join these programs and watch those advertisements. Higher the ROI percentage higher the risk of such program not sustain such offer for long term. But again I say if you choose carefully which programs to join and follow my tips and strategy you will be in profit in no time. What is daily ROI ? Daily ROI is main value you should look at when considering to join a site. ROI is short from Return Of Investment. It is calculated following way - daily percentage is multiplied by upgrade age then removed 100 and divided by upgrade age. For eg. if daily percentage is 1% and upgrade age is 365 days then (1*365-100)/365 is 0.7% which is actual daily profit you are earning in particular program. Another eg. if daily percentage is 12 and upgrade age is 12 days then (12*12-100)/12 is 3.7%. From experience sustaining ROI of 0.1-1.5% is possible and is considered low or medium risk earning opportunity. Anything that is higher than that is considered high risk and higher it goes more risk is involved. 12DailyPro is one big exception as it proved it can operate with such high level for 9 months already and it doesn't show any weakness signs that would mean ending of it anytime soon. If you look more closely at their terms you will understand that for such short term upgrade age actual ROI is even lower because of cashout terms of 5-7 business days which recently was extended to 10 business days for e-gold operations. So if we consider that 10 business days could turn into max 14 regular days (2 weekends if really unlucky) to wait for money paid out which we add to those 12 initial days we get max of 26 days for money returned with profit. So let's recalculate this and we will get (12*12-100)/24 which is 1.83% and from experience shortest wait period I've had was 3 business days after upgrade expired which would give us actual ROI of (12*12-100)/15 which is 2.93%. So we can conclude that 12DailyPro actually has daily ROI of 1.83-2.93% that is much closer to medium risk. So when calculating actual ROI short term upgrades that last just few days always remember to add in time period that is needed to receive payment. And remember if you are considering to join a program that pays out daily then this is 99% chance of a scam that will last only few weeks or month at most. Where are those profits coming from ? This is quite good question but you'll never get a crystal clear answer to it. It varies from program to program and depends on business model that administration has set up. Carefully planned and over time adjusted business model will more likely survive and attract more members to the program that it is used in. But usually admins don't reveal their business plan model simply because of possible competition that would come up with such action. Just like in offline business noone will reveal their secrets of success.
So in general we can name several business models that are used in autosurfing industry: At this time approximate estimation is that 80% of autosurf programs operate with business model descripted in #4 and many of those don't even pay a single cent. Some do pay for few weeks to make impression that they are paying site and leech out more money from autosurfers but surfers become more experienced as well and learn to avoid such scams. Other 20% are operating using first 3 mentioned business models and these are which I am searching out and listing at my site.
